To expedite your visit, whether it be for motor vehicles, real estate, personal property or occupation tax, please bring all renewal notices or tax statements received in the mail. Please bring insurance cards at the time of renewal. Read through all renewal notices and/or tax statements prior to payment. If interest is needed on taxes you may call our office at 402-746-2877.
All titles must be accompanied with a bill of sale in order to transfer titles.
We also accept Credit Card Payments in the Treasurer's Office.
Duties
- To collect all revenues for the County
- To bill and collect all real estate and personal taxes in the County
- Register all motor vehicles with tax situs in the County
- To issue driver licenses, C.D.L.'s, learner permits, I.D. cards, school permits, etc.
- To disburse collections to the proper political subdivisions
- Boat Registration
- Snowmobile Registration
